Bob was born and raised in Philadelphia's Chinatown and attended Holy Redeemer Church and School, Roman Catholic High School and Drexel University. Sports, specifically basketball, played a significant role in his social development growing up and taught many important life lessons like teamwork and commitment. Bob started his association with the Philadelphia Suns since the beginning in 1972. Bob's first involvement was as a player and then later on helped organize a more formal organization structure that culminated when the Philadelphia Suns hosted the National Chinese Basketball Tournament in Philadelphia for the first time in 1989. The grassroots organization has grown exponentially and has expanded into other sports, community events, youth scholarships and more under Harry's leadership. Bob currently works and resides in Florida with his wife and 4 kids and still supports the Philadelphia Suns.
