Scholarship Info
The Philadelphia Suns Scholarship Program was established to promote, develop, encourage, and model leadership in our organization. The Scholarship is awarded to individuals who strive for excellence on the court, in the community, and in their personal life. On the court, he/she has been a consummate team player who exhibits leadership and provides support for his/her teammates. In the community, he/she has gone above and beyond the call of duty through volunteering for various causes including but not limited to work with the Suns. In their personal life, they have found a way to balance volunteerism and athletics to excel in all the other facets of their busy life, including academic excellence, character, sportsmanship and community service. This individual is reliable, hard-working, persevering, ambitious, and optimistic.
