On Saturday, May 22, The Suns Youth Development Program hosted their second in-person event of the year.
Our Paint Night took place at Chinese Christian Church & Center (CCC&C) and consisted of our members following a step-by-step YouTube tutorial video on painting a sunset over the ocean. Attendees also had the option to paint anything their creative minds desire. Our Paint Night supplied paintbrushes and canvases for each member, as well as snacks and drinks for an enjoyable time.
The Philadelphia Suns Youth Development Program (YDP) provides a space to help connect former Suns members to new Suns members through year-round activities and mentorship. The YPD program opens up opportunities that allow for community building within the Suns in which members execute leadership and develop life skills.
