Lion Dance Performance Request

DUE TO LUNAR NEW YEAR ACTIVITIES, ALL BOOKING REQUESTS FOR DATES AFTER MARCH 1ST WILL BE RESPONDED TO AFTER FEB 25TH.

Thank you for considering The Suns Lion Dance Team at your next event! Here is some information regarding our lion dance performances that you should know before submitting a lion dace performance request.

To secure your booking, we encourage you to confirm your booking 4 weeks prior to the performance date but no more than 6 months in advance.
Location of the performance must be within a 45 minute driving distance from Philadelphia Chinatown, with traffic considerations.
Weekday performances are available from 6pm to 9pm, weekend performances are available from 12pm to 9pm.
Cancellation must be made 7 days prior to the performance date.
The minimum donation is $650 for each performance. Discounts may be available for affiliated organizations and non-profit businesses.
Donations can be made online via PayPal, or on the day of performance via cash or check payable to The Philadelphia Suns.
Performance will consist of 2 lions and music ensemble. Performers will arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the performance time and the performance will begin at the performance time provided in the booking request.
To respect the time of our volunteer performers, a $100 charge will be added for every 15 minutes of waiting past performance time.
We have the right to reject any performance bookings.
