Lion dancing is a cultural activity that all members participate in.  In addition to keeping Philadelphia’s Asian American community close to their roots, it is also our major fundraiser for our traveling sports teams (equipment, supplies, transportation, court fees, etc).  All funds go directly to team needs and all members practice & perform this important tradition to preserve the cultural importance & tradition of the lion dance.
